Jorge Luis Hincapie, 60, of New York City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Bellevue Hospital.  Jorge was born in Bogota, Colombia. 

Jorge was a very talented sous chef that loved his career and was currently working at Warwick Hotel in midtown Manhattan.

Jorge is survived by his beloved mother Teresa Hincapie; his loving siblings Doris Zapata, Jaime and Sonia Hincapie.  Also survived by many loving relatives, coworkers and dear friends in the U.S. and Colombia.

Cremation is private at the request of the family and his cremated remains will be returning to his home town in Colombia where memorial services will take place.
